JobsEngineering/Product Design Interns MOTO is a small energetic product and technology consulting firm located South of Market in San Francisco looking for self-motivated individuals to join our team for the summer. We are hard working, but the environment is relaxed, friendly and fun. We take products from initial concepts, through technical architecture, prototyping and into mass production. We have active projects spanning a range of consumer-electronics and industrial devices. Our work includes mechanical, electrical and software engineering, and we are recognized by our clients for our ability to solve their most difficult challenges. We are looking for individuals in the following areas: Mechanical Engineering/Product Design – Responsible for mechanical concept, part design and analysis using Solid Works or Pro-E and prototyping. Electrical Engineering/Embedded Systems – Experience with embedded programming in an ARM C environment and lab experience a plus. Software Engineering – Experience with any of the following a plus: software development in Windows, Mac, or Linux; C/C++/C#, Java, Director/Lingo; driver development and low level communication (USB, Ethernet) Good written and oral skills a must.
