KensingtonQuickstand™Quickstand™ equipment stand from Kensington is a product that offers an efficient way to provide extra storage for paper and general office supplies. One of the main challenges of this project was designing this compact structure to withstand the weight of small machines without incurring extra costs and maintaining the integrity of the original industrial design. In order to accomplish this goal, MOTO sought a balance between the strength of the plastics, the price of the materials and the time to mold the parts. By working closely with the tooler to help select optimum plastics and design appropriate tools, MOTO created a cost-effective product for Kensington. 1997
