Cinema Products CorporationDV Steadicam™DV Steadicam™ from Cinema Products is a low cost version of the renowned professional Steadicam. Capturing smooth, flowing images with ease, the DV Steadicam is a versatile production tool designed to be used with next generation of digital video cameras from Sony and Canon. MOTO was challenged to meet complex static and dynamic kinematics requirements with a minimal number of design iterations. During development, MOTO was able to reduce the number of parts from 250 in the original steadicam design to 50 in this new product. In addition, MOTO pioneered the first structural application of carbon filled thinwall plastics to ensure that the overall product weight fell below 2.75 pounds. 1998
