Silicon GraphicsOrigin 2000™Origin 2000™ is a revolutionary hyper cube based server from Silicon Graphics. MOTO utilized Pro/Engineer to model this complex and large injection molded enclosure. Employing a risk management strategy, MOTO developed a design that allowed for large variations in the size of each part which can occur in both the tooling and injection molding process. Because MOTO was able to identify this possible roadblock during the design phase, the manufacturing problems that eventually occurred did not delay the product launch. 1999
