IntelDot.StationDot.Station is Intel's first product in the web appliance market. Intel retained MOTO Development Group to develop the device from initial industrial design concept to mass-produced product. MOTO worked closely with ID firm IDEO San Francisco and Taiwan-based ODM Tatung, to deliver a production product in 8 months. MOTO led the development program which combined MOTO's in-house product design, system integration and prototype capabilities, with Tatung's manufacturing engineering, and production capabilities. The result is a state-of-the-art web appliance that was delivered in record time to meet Intel's aggressive customer ship deadlines. April-August 2005
