ET Water SystemsA Boost For Sustainable DevelopmentLandscape irrigation uses a significant percentage of the urban water in the US. Water savings are critical for both utility cost savings and continued real estate development. ET Water Systems teamed up with MOTO to conceptualize and develop a new class of green irrigation products. The ET Water irrigation system integrates current weather data and horticultural science with web-based technology to optimize and automate both commercial and residential landscape irrigation control. The web based irrigation control system uses real time weather data to optimize irrigation and reduce water use by up to 40%. MOTO worked with ET Water from an initial business concept through multiple stages of product / service viability studies to develop a solution using the latest cellular and TCP/IP communication technologies to deliver significant utility and costs saving to both facilities owners and landscape contractors. MOTO provided completed product development from architecture and business
analysis to selection of partners and setup of initial manufacturing. 2004
