IntervalPortable EffectsPortable Effects was an interactive installation sponsored by Interval Research and shown in 1997 at The Exploratorium, San Francisco. The installation explores the viewers' design decisions through the recording and annotation of the contents of their hand baggage. MOTO was responsible for the electro-mechanical human interface aspects of the exhibit as part of the multi-disciplinary team formed by Interval Research. This collaboration marked the start of MOTO's work with Interval Research. 1997
